For those of you who read my Blog or subscribe to my ezine you're aware my precious "Teddy Bear" died on Jan 11th. While we will never know for sure what killed him, the doctors guess at Intestinal Bowel Disease. I loved that dog so much it was the hardest thing I had to go through, losing him.
After much deliberation Jim and I have decided to get another dog. Since she's another "Italian Greyhound" like Ted was I gave her a nice Italian name of "Gia Serena"....what do you think? She's about 3.5 months old now and weights about 5lbs. Is she not the cutest thing you've ever seen? I must admit I forgot how much work a puppy is and I'm not getting much done in the way of work or sleep for that matter. She has helped me to get over my loss with Teddy as I don't cry as much as I use to and she keeps me so busy watching her every move I don't have much time left for anything else.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Teddy Bear. I know how much it hurts to lose a beloved pet...I've had hamsters die on me, and just last year, my love bird and my Malayan Box Tortoise died too (both within the same week!!). It's worse when you watch helplessly and don't know what's wrong. I am still pet-less but I hope to get a tortoise from the pet store one of these days. And yes, Gia Serena looks quite adorable.
