“5 Quick Tips To Get Website Traffic Fast!”

Online, one of the most significant keys to success is getting website traffic.  The more visitors you have, the better your sales and profits.yellow   Presumably you have a niche and you know your keywords, and regularly conduct keyword research to stay on top of what’s popular.  Based on those assumptions here are five quick and easy tips to get website traffic fast!

Tip #1  Make sure you’re actually tagging your keywords.

Do you spend a lot of time optimizing your content and then neglect to tag them on your webpage?  Tags are where search engines look and if there are no tags they’ll pass right by your web pages.  Here’s a quick brief on tags.

There are a number of tag types including,

* Title tags.  Title tags are quite possibly the most important place to situate your keywords.  Here’s what they look like - <title>Primary keyword phrase here. </title>

Your title tag is where you place your primary keyword or keyword phrase.  The sentence will describe your business in less than 90 characters.

* Header Tags.  Header tags are next in order of importance to search engines.  They’re ranked in order of importance and look like this - <h1>Primary and/or Secondary keywords here</h1>

The “1” designates this header as the most important header on the page.

* Meta Tags. Meta tags provide the small descriptive text found underneath the title tag on the search engine results page.  Like title tags these should be kept brief, informative and up to date.

* Alt Tags.  Alt tags are used to provide a text description of a graphic.  Each graphic on your site should have a description and an alt tag.

Tip #2 Add content to your site daily

Content is essential for traffic and a top search engine ranking.  Content is what search engine spiders look for and index - without it there’s nothing to index or rank.  Give visitors and search engines a reason to visit and index your site. Make a commitment to provide daily, optimized content and your traffic will soar.

Tip #3 Procure valuable and relevant incoming links

The more websites which link to your webpages the more valuable search engines perceive you to be, though not all links are created equal.  Search engines give more leverage to links from sites which are popular and credible and from sites which are relevant to your website topic.

There are different types of links.

- A direct link looks like a basic website address, for example, www.yourwebsite.com

- A text link occurs when the webpage address is embedded in the text.  Readers simply click on the link and are redirected to a new website page.

- If the link is to an internal web page, for example an article published on a website, rather than the home page, it is called a “deep link.”

You can encourage linking to your website by:

* Adding content to your site.
* Submitting to article directories.
* Publishing press releases.
* Blogging and participating in social networking forums, chat rooms and social networking sites.

Tip #4 Be Social!

Now more than ever before, internet marketing is about building a community.  Whether you offer a forum on your website or you participate in social networking sites, social networking is a valuable traffic generating tactic.  Sites like Facebook and Twitter can be powerful tools for generating links and traffic to your site – create a profile and then post comments, links to your site and ideas which generate conversation.

Get involved - many chat rooms and forums are industry specific, find those which cater to your industry, and begin participating.  Speak to and connect with a highly targeted audience.

Tip #5 Advertise for more exposure

Advertising, when handled strategically, can be used to promote your content and products or services.  PPC advertising is often the tool of choice because you control the advertising budget on a daily basis and have the tools to test and track your advertising efforts.  Once you’ve honed your PPC ads the return on investment can be phenomenal in terms of traffic and purchases.

For maximum results, create a traffic and SEO strategy.  Outline your plan and your goals and then take the necessary action.  Take advantage of these five traffic and search engine tips to boost your business.

“Benefits of Participating in a Joint Venture Giveaway”

There are many benefits to participating in a Joint Venture (JV) giveaway.

The biggest benefits are the opportunity to build your list, expand your community and generate leads for your business.  Both participants and contributors to JV events reap huge rewards.fish2

Joint Venture Giveaway Participants

Participants sign up to get free products at the event. To receive your free products, you will most likely be required to opt-in for that person’s email list or newsletter. Some benefits to JV participants are:

• Access to free products and memberships that otherwise you would have to pay for or may never learn about. Many JV giveaway goodies are created specifically for the giveaway and are not available anywhere else.

• You can build your business. As a participant you may gain access to brandable products, PLR content, learning tools and more that can build up your website and increase your sales as a result.

• Generate ideas. By participating and seeing what other entrepreneurs or businesses have to offer, you may generate ideas of your own for new products, services or ways to do business as a whole.

Joint Venture Giveaway Contributors

Contributors are joint venture partners who offer a product for free. The benefits of being a contributor include:

• List building is the main point of this exercise. You may have struggled to get 100 names before, but with other joint venture partners promoting the event just like you, your business can end up getting ten times that many names throughout the course of the event.

• Your quality of leads is much better than you could get in the same amount of time on your own. Depending on the business names associated with the event, your list may be stellar.

• You can promote your business through your free products. What you offer can have something to do with your business. For example, if you include a free eBook, load it with your affiliate links and also links to your own website. Now, when we say load we don’t mean stuff it full of nothing but promotions. Provide value in what you contribute otherwise people will unsubscribe as quick (or quicker) than they signed up in the first place.

• Bonus profit is yours with one-time offers. When the members opt-in, you can include a limited offer on the landing page that they can take advantage of right then and there for a reduced price. Be sure to check the giveaway rules as some do not allow offers directly on your download page. If this is the case, provide them information about your products in the autoresponder follow up series. You did set up a follow up series, right?

There are benefits to being both a participant and a contributor in joint venture giveaway events. Try it both ways for greater success.

“How Joint Venture Giveaways Work”

Joint venture giveaways are an excellent way to build your list within your target market. Those who attend and those who participate are trying to reach the same goal – business growth. Here is a brief overview of how these ventures work. birdie_256

First Things First

To participate in a joint venture giveaway all you have to do is sign up and register for the giveaway event. Sometimes you will visit one site and opt-in to receive your free "goodies". Other times, you will visit numerous sites to receive the giveaways.  When the event starts, you will have access to dozens or even hundreds (depending on the number of contributors) of free and helpful goodies for your business.

After attending a joint venture event as a member, you may want to convert to a contributor. Contributors provide a giveaway that others can download. As a contributor, you can certainly participate in the event as well.  Depending on the joint venture giveaway event, it may be by invitation only or it may be open to anyone who wants to contribute. Ask the organizer! The worse they can say is "No!"

Your Product Offering

Once you have decided to contribute to a giveaway event, it’s time to think about your offering. You can offer a product that you created or one that offers resell rights. Either way, members have to be able to download your product. This way, you can offer your product to 2,000 people just as easily as two.

As you are deciding on your giveaway, it is important to consider the following: 1) Who are the participants of the joint venture giveaway? 2) What are they hoping to get out of the event; 3) What relevant offer to you have? 4) What aspect of your business do you want to showcase.  Remember, your giveaway should add value so be sure to consider the audience and your goals.

Promotion

Most joint venture giveaways required contributors to promote the event to their list, Twitter or FaceBook communities. The more people who know about the event, the more leads all contributors gain.

As you promote, don’t forget to post links on your site and/or blog. This way, interested joint venture partners can find out how they can sign on as a contributor. Your readers and customers can join as members and get tons of free gifts.

Joint venture giveaways are a win-win situation for everyone involved. As a participant, you can see the list of giveaway items and promote the event yourself so others can share in the bounty. As a contributor, you and other JV partners are promoting the event to build your list. Joint venture giveaways are a fabulous, highly affordable way to gain hundreds of new leads in a short time.

“5 Super-Simple Steps to Starting an Online Business”

Why do gurus have to make starting an online business sound so darned hard? It's really not difficult at all, and, in fact, it can be broken down into five steps, most of which can be done for you. Don't believe me? Here you go:

1. Have Susanne Myers research a niche for you.

2. Have Kelly McCausey set up a blog for you.

3. Have Nicole Dean create your content for you.

4. Have Nicole & Susanne monetize your blog for you.

5. Then, promote your new blog! (You can even outsource that, too, if you'd like.)

Wow. I'll bet that sounds expensive. Guess what? It's actually not. I'll break it down for you a bit further and explain each of the steps above and you'll see just how super-simple it is for you to get a blog up and running, in a profitable niche, with content, in no time flat.

Step One: Find a Profitable Niche.

Easy. Get Respected Marketer, Susanne Myers, to research and find a profitable niche for you, including keywords and even blog post titles. She's already done the work in advance so all you have to do is point and click and you're ready to roll.

Each of her research packs includes the following and more:

· Detailed niche description

· List of affiliate products available

· 100 domain name ideas (plus list of modifiers for hundreds more)

· Detailed keyword report for over 1000 keywords

· 100 article and blog post ideas

· 15 different author resource boxes

Just swing by www.NicheResearchPacks.com to see what she's got available.

Step Two: Get a Blog Set up for Free.

In order to have your own website or blog, you need two things:

-A domain.

-Web hosting.

The cool thing is that I know of a web host that will actually install your blog for you so you can skip the grunt work. Just swing by www.ReliableWebs.com to sign up for your web hosting. As part of the deal, they'll install a WordPress blog for you, free of charge.

Step two, done. You've got a bare-bones blog now. (Although just to let you know, for a very reasonable fee, the owner of ReliableWebs.com will customize your blog and make it look really cool, too.)

I also am a big fan of www.hostgator.com

For beautiful themes check out Wobzy.com Premium WordPress Themes

Here’s a free Expert WordPress Installer.

Step Three: Get Content.

Here's the next shortcut for you. Swing by www.EasyPLR.com and you can grab prewritten content for your new blog that's copy/paste ready for you to use.

Now, the content should be reworked a bit by you so that it's different and unique.

Here are some videos to help:

Also, for PLR Content check out PLR.Me

And another good source for PLR

Step Four: Monetize Your Blog.

This is another step where people tend to get stuck. But, guess what? Nicole and Susanne have already done the work for you here, too.

With every niche pack from Susanne's site, you'll receive recommendations for affiliate programs that tie into the topic. And, with every pack of PLR articles that you purchase from EasyPLR.com, you'll also get affiliate recommendations.

So, sign up for some of the affiliate programs that Nicole & Susanne recommend if they appeal to you and add some promos to your blog.

You'll want to incorporate recommendations inside your blog posts eventually, and perhaps do reviews and interviews with the product owners down the road, but for now, you're up and running. Don't get hung up on this. You can always tweak it later.

Step Five: Promote your new Blog.

Here's where the rubber meets the road. It's time to promote your new blog. To me, this is the fun part, but I know it's where a lot of people panic.

Here are five quick and easy ways to promote your new blog.

1. Add your blog link to the bottom of your forum/message board posts. (See? That wasn't so scary.)

2. Leave comments on popular, related blogs in your niche. Here's a list of 20 Internet Marketing blogs if that's your niche: http://www.nicoleonthenet.com/3842/list-of-internet-marketing-blogs-to-comment-on-for-traffic/

3. Post on Twitter whenever you write a new blog post. To brand your Tweets check out MarketMeTweet

Download your Free Twitter Report and learn how to use it in your marketing efforts.

Manage your Twitter account with ease Schedule tweets across all your Twitter accounts, send DMs to all your followers. Vastly improve your productivity on Twitter with Socialoomph

4. Guest blog on other blogs for exposure.

5. Create some videos and post them on YouTube with a link back to your new blog.

6) Publish an Ezine: The only way to collect email addresses of your visitors and build your own opt-in list is with your own ezine. If you're not publishing, I strongly suggest you start and add a sign up box in the upper right hand corner of every page in your site. To learn more about ezines,
visit http://www.EzineUniversity.com

7) Use P.P.C:  That's "Pay Per Click," for all you newbies out there. If you're not using Google Adwords and Yahoo you need to open an account today.

To learn more about pay per clicks go to: http://PayPerClickResearch.com

8) Swap Links: You've heard it before but it bears repeating: find other related blogs and swap links with them. Not only will it give you a slight boost with the search engines, but it will also enhance your site for your guests by giving them more related resources to explore. Check out http://LinkPartners.com

9) Write Articles: Write short articles such as this one and distribute them to article lists and other ezine/blog publishers for possible inclusion on their site, ezine or blog. Try to keep them short under 500 words. And use a good resource box offering something for free. This tool should help with the writing process.

10) Press Releases: Try to come up with a news angle for your blog and compose a press release and submit it to the media. If just one person
picks up your story you can get a large amount of traffic.

Check out:

11) Promotional Products: Have pens, pencils, notepads and other promotional items printed up with your url and give them away. Try http://Epromos.com

Also check out Google Social Search Secrets

I also recommend this free course if you're a complete beginner and want to learn more about web traffic: www.WebTrafficBasics.com

Of course these steps are basic and I could certainly dig in further, but, I promised you that this would be super-simple so that's it. Now go do it!

"Move Over ClickBank, There's a New Kid in Town: Click2Sell"

Are you frustrated with Clickbank? For years now they have beenpeace-clover-dove the "reigning champion" when it comes to payment processing with a built in affiliate network. Clickbank makes it easy to sell your digital products and take advantage of their affiliate army, numbering over 100,000. It's simple really - you let others sell your products and they earn commission.

Recently a new competitor has hit the scene, Click2Sell.eu. They're a company based out of Europe who have put together a service that includes many of the features that others  are lacking.

No matter if you're just a merchant (seller), or you're a "super affiliate" making a living online, Click2Sell incorporates some wonderful features and benefits. Let's  take a closer look:

Merchants can sell digital or material products, even subscription based services. Your products can be sold in U.S. dollars, EUR or GBP. Payments are received instantly to your Paypal, Worldpay, Authorize.net, Google Checkout or Moneybookers account.

Once registered, you can be up and selling right away. There's no "waiting period" for approval of thank you or sales pages. You set your own pricing, no maximum price points, and it's easy to add new products.

Your digital products are uploaded to Click2Sell's server and protected from unauthorized access. The thank you  pages shown to buyers are encrypted so they never know the actual download location. All download links expire within 72 hours of purchase, which eliminates the problem of them being shared with others.

The built in affiliate program allows you to easily pay any affiliate commission with a few clicks, using either Paypal or Moneybookers. You set the commission rate you're willing to pay, up to 95%. affiliates can be automatically accepted or you can choose to manually approve them. This feature allows you to ban those you don't want promoting your products.

Merchants are also given a choice to show affiliates the conversion rates of your products in the marketplace, or not. And, of course they've built in powerful statistics and tracking which reports on the number of active affiliates, and their performance. Also, it tracks product conversion rates for different keywords, a product's rank and history of changes in the marketplace and much more.

Hang on to your seat because the benefits and features offered to affiliates are just as exciting. When searching for products you wish to promote, you can search through the marketplace using various criteria such as category, rank, amount earned per sale, conversion rate, popularity and more. This is a great way to find just the products that meet your needs.

The built in advanced tracking reports allow you to see how many people clicked on your affiliate link, and the number that actually purchased. See how much you've earned in "real time". Very nice. Even if they don't purchase right away, if someone clicks on your affiliate link and goes back to purchase within six months, you'll still earn your commission.

Any monies earned in a month are paid out in full the following month. No money is held back in a reserve account.

So, how much is all of this going to cost you? Don't faint, but it's totally free to set up an account, no matter if you're a merchant or just an affiliate.
Merchants are charged 1.00 to 3.00 USD on each sale.

Do yourself a favor and check out their website for further information.

Download “Merle’s Mission Blog 2009” Free Ebook

Have you ever wanted to take your Blog and turn it into a book? If you have there are services online that will do all the hard work for you. The biggest job you’ll face is to point them to your Blog’s URL and upload a fewseal3 graphics. Hard Stuff…huh?

I used Blog to Print to take all of the posts from 2009 and turn them into a nice little 100 page PDF download. Pretty cool. It took me about 10 minutes and 8.00. They also have an option of turning your ebook into a hard or soft cover book, but that will cost you a few more bucks. For my purposes, a PDF that can be downloaded and given away freely works just fine.

Here it is, my free gift to you. If you like it, feel free to give it away from your own site/blog or newsletter. The more the merrier. Download it here.

“Podcasts, Online Radio Shows and Recurring Video Casts: All Great Ways to Promote Your Business”

Part of promoting your website business is getting in front of as many001_45 people as possible. While you are there, give them something interesting the read, listen to or watch that will direct them to your website through a link. One of the ways that people like to hear about new sites is through podcasts.

What is a Podcast?

A podcast is a multimedia tool that people can follow. Think of it as audio or video information that you can listen to or view on your computer, your iPod or any other multimedia enabled device. It’s like having your own radio show on your website.

Podcasts can be syndicated using RSS (really simple syndication). This is the same process that people use to keep up with blogs and websites. The RSS feed allows them to receive updates when changes are made on the site so they don’t have to visit every day.

Creating your Podcast

There is software available to help you create your audio and video files. You can embed code for them on your website so others can view them.

Beyond the technical aspects, the purpose of the podcast is to present interesting information to your readers in a new and unique way. People browse the Internet to find useful items. They like to read, but would admittedly like to watch or listen as it is a more convenient way to get the same information.

So what will make your podcast stand out? Use engaging dialogue, present relevant topics and use visually appealing props and sets for video casts.

Going Viral

For one, don’t forget the keywords. You want people to be able to find your podcasts when they use their search engines. Even if you are using mainly audio, include keyword optimized titles, tags and links in your podcasts.

Submit your podcasts to directories. Use every avenue to get yourself in front of the public. That includes creating press releases to announce your podcasts if you are introducing them for the first time. Optimizing your press releases and submitting them to free press release sites keeps people finding them even after you are through using them.

Let your existing customers in on the new podcast. Use your email list to keep them in the loop as you unroll your podcast project. Give them links directly to the podcast so they can view it and hopefully pass the link on to others.

Your podcast can be turned into a radio show with regular guest spots. Interview other business owners in your niche and notable online personalities who would be of interest to your readers. A recurring show can increase your traffic and your following.

Want to get people to your website? Create a podcast. Turn it into a radio show or recurring video cast to create a following and gain more traffic to your business.

“Affiliate Programs Get Your Business Noticed”

Website promotion gets the word out about your online business. If you are already making sales, using other, more advanced promotion methods can increase your targeted list of potential buyers and hopefully sales too. Affiliate programs are designed to do just that. 001_19

The idea behind affiliate programs is simple. You use other businesses and websites to promote your products on their website. They are doing the legwork while you reap the benefits. But, they also get a piece of the pie when people click on their link and head on over to your website.

For the business owner looking to increase their visibility among their target market, starting an affiliate program is a win-win situation. For one, your affiliates (those are your promotion partners) are not paid unless they fulfill your agreement. Some affiliate programs pay per lead, click or per sale. Each link is coded so that you know which affiliate link has been used to access your website.

Secondly, when you achieve those leads, clicks and sales through affiliate promotion, your business is getting exactly what it needs. Here’s an example: Let’s say that you are trying to build your list. If five affiliates each have ten people click and sign up on your website - that is fifty more names for your list. But, these are not just any names. They are people from your target market who are already interested in your type of product since they accessed you through a related site.

To get the desired results from your affiliate program, you have to put in some work. It all begins with choosing the right businesses to advertise your products for you. In reality, if you choose poorly, then you haven’t lost any money but you have lost time and energy and most of us don’t have that to spare when we are trying to grow a business.

Look for businesses that have at least two things in common:

• Lots of traffic
• Great reputation in your niche industry

What you want is to put your product in front of people who have made their business a success. It is a smart choice to get companies with similar interests involved in your venture. You don’t want them to be in direct competition, but if they operate within the same niche, you can be pretty sure your products will interest their visitors too.

Offering top notch tools in your affiliate toolbox will attract just the kind of people you want to promote your website. Include graphics, website content, brandable reports and eBooks, banners and other nifty items to help them to help you make your business an even bigger success.

Affiliate programs are one way to promote your website and leverage the power of others to do it. By working with your affiliates and giving them the tools and knowledge necessary to be successful, you’ll not only promote your business more, but also increase sales.
